Dana Bambace
Born in New York, and raised in Pebble Beach from a young age, the 17-Mile Drive was her playground growing up. A graduate of Robert Louis Stevenson High School in Pebble Beach and Southern Methodist University in Texas, Dana spent time living and traveling in many metropolitan areas before she decided to return home to "the good life," the Monterey Peninsula.
A dominant market leader, Dana is a true trailblazer, always looking for opportunities to "break the mold" and rise above the status quo. A Top-producing individual agent year after year, ranking in the top 10 Realtors on the Monterey Peninsula, consistently closing over $50M in sales annually. In 2018 Compass asked Dana to assist with founding the Carmel-by-the-Sea/Pebble Beach office. Dana teamed with her brother-in-law, Mark Peterson, also a top producing agent, to take on this endeavor becoming founding agents for Compass on the Monterey Peninsula. Following her launch with Compass, Dana formally joined forces with Mark founding The Bambace Peterson Team.
They have been a successful team, closing $133M in sales in 2020 and $182M in 2021, ranking in #4 out of all agents on the Monterey Peninsula.

Dana proudly works in Carmel-by-the-Sea, serving all the coveted areas that comprise it, as well as Pebble Beach, Carmel Highlands, Carmel Valley, Monterey, Pacific Grove, and the golf communities of Monterra, Pasadera, Tehama and Santa Lucia Preserve.
She and her husband live in Carmel, grateful to be raising their children in the same beautiful community that their parents chose to raise them.

Mark is a founding agent for the Carmel & Pebble Beach office of Compass and partner for the Bambace Peterson Team. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Monterey County Association of Realtors.
In 2018 he and his business partner (and sister-in-law), Dana, saw an innovative and growing company and founded the local Compass presence. Their business savvy and work ethic has resulted in building one of the areas strongest and widely respected real estate teams. The Bambace Peterson team continually ranks in the top 5 in sales volume and transactions for the Monterey Peninsula, Top 100 in Northern California, and Top 100 in small teams across the state of California.
Born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula, Mark has deep roots to the community and is involved with many local foundations and non-profits, Highlights include teaching 2 nights a week for 11 years as a professor of both Strategic Management (Capstone) and Fundamentals of Marketing at California State University Monterey Bay.
Mark was exposed to real estate at a young age with successful parents (Ann Peterson Mahoney and John Mahoney) in both the residential and commercial markets. Once he launched his real estate career, Mark immediately found success as a trusted advisor for clients and was honored as a Rising Star from The California Association of Realtors and was also a finalist for Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate International’s Top New Agent.
Prior to becoming a Realtor he spent 20 years in the technology working in marketing and public relations across 40+ companies ranging from venture-backed startups to established Fortune 500 industry leaders.
Mark holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BA in Communications from Oregon State University and graduated from Stevenson School. He lives in Pebble Beach with his wife and two children, who also attend Stevenson. He has been an avid surfer for 35+ years.
